Hello, my name is Jarrod, and I am the owner of Psycho Clown Tattoo. I am truly thankful that I have the opportunity to do what I love most for a living: Living Artwork. I enjoy doing New School stuff the most (i.e. big, bold outline/bright vibrant colors). I am an accomplished artist in all forms of tattooing, ranging from custom drawn artwork and fine line, to portraits and Tribal. Now, more than ever, it is important to look at quality before price in the tattoo industry. Just because the artwork will be on your body forever doesn’t mean that it is a quality piece of work. Also, just because someone has a big sign, or a fancy studio, doesn’t mean they are really capable of offering professional tattoos. Here, at Psycho Clown Tattoo, we are also concerned about recent media coverage of infection and disease vs. tattooing. In most cases, these incidents can be traced back to someone’s buddy, or friend, tattooing out of his/her house. When you take this chance, and receive a tattoo or piercing of this kind, the risk of infection is almost guaranteed. This is the reason that we are licensed by the Texas Department of Health. I would also like to rant, for a moment; about the way piercing is going on in our world today. Unlike some places, here at Psycho Clown, we require all of our piercists to attend a piercing seminar in California to undergo extensive training. They must then serve a complete year as an apprentice, before piercing any paying client with a needle. Please keep in mind that piercing is a medical procedure. If performed wrong, it can leave a person with numerous negative side effects, including, but not limited to: long term pain, horrible scarring, and even hospitalization. Just because one person has done a few piercings without hurting someone else, it does not make them a qualified piercist. Make sure that you ask what, if any, training your piercist has. For God’s sake, take the time to look at their portfolio, and ask what sterilization procedures they use. Now, with that said, if you have any positive or negative feedback on our studio, please let me know personally, at jarrod@psychoclown.com. You may also use this address if you just want to shoot the shit sometime.
